My first Weekend Pick of 2023 is also the first ever short film that I’ll recommend. It’s called ‘A japa tale’ and it’s about a young couple who decide to cohabit as they make plans to spend the foreseeable future together.

This thought-provoking 27 minute film is written and directed by Dika Ofoma and it stars Onyinye Odokoro, Danie Ngozika and Ozioma Ejiofor.
