FOR FULL DETAILS ON THIS STORY CHECK OUT THE FULL VIDEO: ย ย ย โ€ขย RUSSIAย Airlinesย Disasterย asย Turkeyย Refuses...ย ย

RUSSIA is the largest country in the world, in terms of land mass, and is dependent upon air travel. Following the invasion of Ukraine the two biggest aircraft manufacturers, Boeing and Airbus, applied sanctions against Russia which meant that Russia was no longer able to buy planes, parts, technology or maintenance directly. This has caused major problems within Russia as 77% of of all of the aircraft in Russia at the start of the war were made by Boeing and Airbus and the global airline industry is dominated by these two manufacturers. Russia has now become dependent upon overseas Airlines and its biggest partner, TURKISH AIRLINES, has recently been turning away Russian passengers to South America. In addition the Sanctions have forced Russia to scrap old planes for parts and it is now attempting to scale up its own aircraft manufacturing industry. In this video I provide more details of the issues that Russia is facing and discuss the implications for the Russian Economy.

Putin really didn't think this invasion through. I'm sure he doesn't get much sleep at night.

Russia stole a lot of those planes and are now mad that the interest from their frozen assets are being given to Ukraine.

It should be added that most of these chop shop planes are leased and stolen.

That's okay. China will make something that appears similar to whatever they need.

The parts in planes are subjected to extreme conditions heat and vibration they have a limited life and normally replaces before they fail. It is likely the planes if returned to their owners would be scrapped anyway.

What is difficult to assess is when using parts from another aircraft is the type of stresses that the part endured and the time those parts suffered under such stresses. Even when using recertified parts the amount of testing and compliance values are vastly different. The part can even be mechanically or physically identical to your failed part but that part was issued to another craft with different loads apply. By doing this "swap" and not identifying the replaced part or logging it, the plane can suffer internal damage and a catastrophic incident can occur.

Replacement planes will come from local manufacturers and especially from China.

There are very few new parts available to Russia. Yes, there will be some parts bypassing the sanctions BUT things like brakes, and other relatively high consumables are certainly in LOW SUPPLY. Sanctions have a negative effect, to what extent is speculation, seeing the incident rates increase in Russia certainly suggests there is proof of the effect.
