What did your parents do that backfired on them horribly? I was born with blonde hair, just like my parents.

But when I turned three or four, it started getting darker. My mom got really scared about it. Since then, she began secretly coloring my hair with who knows what.

She would routinely dye it whenever dad wasn't around, like every four weeks. One day, she jokingly admitted she didn't want my dad to suspect I wasn't his child because my hair had turned dark.

And at that time, I didn't want to disappoint my dad. She scared us into thinking that if we didn't keep our hair color, dad would get mad. She kept up the routine of dyeing my hair until I was 15.

It didn't stop with me, either. She did the same to my siblings who were born with blonde hair, dyeing their hair to keep it from turning dark.

We suffered from chemical burns and allergic reactions, but my mom was determined to keep up the facade. Well, 25 years later, all of us found out none of us were actually my dad's kids.

It all started after a medical scare that required a detailed family history. A DNA test revealed the shocking truth. It turns out the reason my mom was so obsessed with keeping our hair blonde was to cover up her past affairs.

And she did it five times with five different men. My dad was heartbroken by the betrayal. And he ended up divorcing her and suing my mom
