Try looking into Imperial Japan where the army had its own navy (including its own submarine fleet) and the navy had its own army. And both had its own air forces with planes made by same companies but in separate assembly lines

Yeah the US is tricky. We’ve got the Air Force, the Navy with their own Air Force, the Marines with THEIR own, the army with all their helicopters, the Coast Guard with their own aviation units, and I don’t even know about the space force. And all of them have helicopter forces as well
