So she emotionally manipulated her daughter into doing something she didn’t want to do? Why? Insecure? What a disgusting thing to do. I understand why her husband doesn’t trust her now.
I wish her all the best with her recovery but I can’t imagine this being the first shady thing she’s done to her daughter.

NTA It’s heartbreaking having to go through such a traumatic experience such as cancer. However the mom had zero right to force her daughter to shave her head. The daughter made it very clear that she did not want to do this. Plus since shes still in high school I presume, teenagers happen to be very cruel when it comes down to what you wear, how your hair looks.
