Honestly for having only a 2-year window to develop this game since they got the licensing rights, I'm pretty impressed. They've shown they care about this game and the sport, so I have faith they'll continue to tweak stuff. Especially if they add quality of life changes throughout the game's lifecycle

I'm 100% buying this game to get an update and see about the future. This is a foundation game. As long as that is the expectation and we, as Nascar gamers, feel we have a solid foundation in Nascar 25, then the next 2 games and beyond will give us everything we want. For now, we just need to hope for an upgrade of NASCAR 21 Ignition, which by everything I've seen, we are getting. Possibly on par with the Heat series, which is one hell of a starting point.

Let’s be real. The people who say it’s going to be Thunder 04 are completely wrong. The people who say it’s going to be Ignition are completely wrong. My opinion is that I’m pretty disappointed with quite a few features being missing, like missing Mexico and Portland, being forced to drive for your own team in career, and the damage model looking pretty bland. But let’s go back to 2023, when we were trapped with Motorsports games, and NASCAR gaming in general looked hopeless. Then to find out we were saved by Iracing was like being answered by God himself, our expectations were VERY low, just wanting an okay game to start whilst building forward. So far they’re doing better than that, and I appreciate that. By the looks of things, it kind of reminds me of a NASCAR heat series super far down the line, and this is Iracing and monster games FIRST title. I hope these other features will be added in the future, but right now the goal is to set a good baseline and build to the future.

They need to put out a demo for people so they can actually get a feel for the racing before the spend 60 dollars.

Honestly, most of the features that are missing are super minor. Most could be added with an update if they wanted. It would be bad if they said that you had to pay for the missing tracks though. That would be uncalled for. But I don't think that iRacing would do that.

I mostly play on console, and I've gotten into the F1 games over the last few years.
Whenever I play NASCAR games and join a team or switch series, it does bother me slightly when me joining a big team like Hendrick or JGR basically kicks out a top level driver who in a real life scenario would be highly sought after and kick off a series of driver changes that would completely shuffle the order.

Mexico is missing because it was just added to Iracing and it takes a while probably to implement tracks into N25

A lot of the stuff we want is coming but the stuff we need will be here on day one, the stuff people are complaining about has nothing to do with online, can we host our own private lobbies or is it gonna be like iRacing with skill levels to better group you with like skilled players or are they gonna go the Forza route and have both?

Gameplay looks good/great on short tracks, and intermediates, But shaky on Restrictor Plates, and Road Courses.

Just sad no burnouts, no caution replay and the saddest of all is you don't get to see the pitstop it just resumes... Hopefully that will change or if they do a Nascar 26 they can think of adding one of the most crucial things of Nascar.. which is seeing the PITSTOP !

For me nascar 25 needs to be a solid base (solid and fun gameplay, good ai and presentation...) for them to add more features in the future of the series.

People are so battered emotionally from Ignition that they think it's okay for the developers of some of the greatest NASCAR games ever made to half-ass a release. With that being said, I think it'll be fine.
