Do a simple search in google. How he pronounce it is in UK pronunciation.
"The most basic answer to the “cicada” question has to do with where you live. The preferred pronunciation in much of the United States is “si-KAY-da.” Some Americans opt for “si-KAH-da,” like the last name of Cuban-born singer-songwriter Jon Secada. That variant, though, is heard more frequently in the United Kingdom and such Commonwealth countries as South Africa, Canada, and Australia. Those who say “si-KAY-da” need not be intimidated by “si-KAH-da,” as the latter pronunciation is a Johnny-come-lately even in Britain."

Cicadas inspired three pokémon. Nincada from their time as nymph, which is bug/ground type and lives burried underground. When it evolves it becomes Ninjask, bug/flying type, the full grown cicada and one of the fastest pokémon, and the empty molds becomes another independant pokémon named Shedinja, bug/ghost type which is the only pokémon with one health point, but one of the best abilities of the game, Wonder Guard, which only supereffective moves can pass.

Wait...is it really pronounced that way? Never ran into them until I moved to Florida. Down here they pronounce it si-cay-das instead of si-cah-duhs. The noise when they all surface is incredibly loud and the pitch makes you feel like the sound is in your brain. During a hot summer day you have to speak louder for another person to hear you even in close proximity.
Sleep deprivation and playing Cicada sounds loud would be a effective torture method.

I just noticed 🤔
that compared to ants, these termites r not as...high speed. Now it makes more sense to me that they can afford to wait so long for a food supply. Ants r n constant high speed motion & need to secure food much sooner n the founding process.
These termites move pretty slow n comparison so prolly need much less food
