The shower part isn’t meant to be used as a shower ;)
If it was, there would be an attachment point on the wall, and then you would have curtain or glass wall.
I guess the main reason to have it like that is to be able to wash of cleaning products easier or wash a dog ;)

this is what i donn't understand in the usa. a bathtub is a bathtub and a shower is a shower. some people have both, but if you have a smaller apartment you have to choose (men prefer showers, women prefer bathtubs). But mixing both is a mistake
