So excited this kitchen gadget arrived, now I can separate a million eggs a day!

This gadget it quite hard to find, I wanted to buy the professional bakers separator made of metal for years but could never justify the $300 price tag, just recently found this one online of plastic for $60 and instantly ordered it πŸ˜‚

The channel that was making the homemade noodle thing, needs this. The last video they made spent 4 hours cracking and separating the egg parts.

...I have tons of recipes that I never did (edit: in a large batch) because of the amount of egg separating needed. This is going to help A LOT.

Edit:

Because of the amount of people thinking I'm stupid for not knowing how to separate yolks from the whites, I have to clarify that I know. It's the amount that I find troublesome to do, especially if I'm sharing what I made with my family and friends. If you have the time to separate each at a time, go ahead. I don't, I'm busy and despite that I like making things to share with people. If I find something that helps cut the time needed then I'll be happy to buy it.

When I was a kid, my uncle told me that white bit floating in the egg whites was rooster Jizm. I didn't eat eggs until I was about a teenager.

I seriously appreciate you getting straight to the point. I've skipped so many shorts cause they just talk for over half of it. I don't have much time to watch, especially at work so i want to see the result quickly, and yes i know it's only 60 seconds but still.

I want quick satisfaction damn it cause I'm an impatient asshole, so thank you.

Interesting. Now you need to wash that gadget. Kitchen gadgets are useful, but cleaning them can be tedious.

I'm sure it's handy if you cook with a lot of egg whites or yolks on a regular basis, though it might be more hassle than it's worth for most of us. Depending on how easy it is to clean and store, it might be a kitchen gadget nightmare.

This is every Pastry Chefs dream πŸ₯°πŸ₯°πŸ₯°πŸ₯° but the little bit of yolk that got into the egg whites at the end makes the whites useless for certain recipes like pavlovas or meringu

It mostly works...seems like you have to run tgem through twice to get a good separation. I feel like any other method would be faster.

Oh man the memories of egg separating i did in my summer work in a bakery during highschool. I had to do 30 trays everyday.

Your, "good news!" At the start was reminiscent of Futurama.

I think if you really have a whole lot of eggs to separate it might be a help. It's fun to watch though 😁 as long as I don't have to clean it myself..

That looks like it's going to be miserable to clean. I feel like there are 100 different easier ways to do this before using this slide thing.

Davy, as a pro chef you know exactly you can be quicker by cracking the egg in your clean hand and separate it that way... πŸ˜‚
