While i hope fsr 3 is great i don't think it will "destroy nvidia". More games Support dlss than fsr 2 and the visual quality of dlss is better. Maybe AMD can pull something out of their hat bit i don't see any reason, why it should be different.
It working on consoles may cause fsr 3 to be adopted into more games but from my understanding fsr and dlss are implemented in nearly the same way. So if a developer implements one the work to implement the other is minimal. So most games will likely also support dlss.

The 3060 will be insane the amd frame gen+ nvidia software (for work) and 12gb!

The nice thing is it will work on consoles and on Nvidia cards that's a bit wild however we will see how well this goes over the next couple years

Frame Gen is overrated, in my opinion. It increases latency and causes weird graphical artifacting and ghosting, not to mention that it isn't worth activating if your base FPS is quite a bit below 60 FPS. I guess it's ok to use it in single player games where latency doesn't matter as much, but that doesn't stop the graphical artifacting from occurring. Ray Reconstruction seems like a far superior technology to Frame Gen as it will offer better image quality than native ray tracing with much more accurate spatial settings such as better lighting, reflections, shadows, and refractions, and it's also meant to get rid of graphical artifacting and ghosting caused by denoisors, which are used in the traditional ray tracing pipeline. Ray Reconstruction seems like a game changer, and unlike Frame Gen, Ray Reconstruction will work on all RTX GPUs.

Isn't like fsr 3 coming tomorrow? Something about August 6th or something that or the gpu release which kinda sucks but at the same time would be huge to relase that as well cause sales would explode

I like this. I believe this will be good for both companies and customers 😊 as it ignites competition. I would however, like to see AMD come up with new technology for once and not copy a competitor - technology that people actually remember and changes the industry, leading the way Nvidia does. 🤷

Honestly I will wait till it lauches to see how good it will perform. Nowadays it's better to wait for an upcoming product to launch and see if it actually stands up to its promises rather than hype for it saying right out the gate that "it will be the best thing ever". And for AMD that means something, given how they are always behind in terms of upscalers.

Whatever it is, i'm waiting the best bang for the bucks GPU they can offer (AMD is currently forcing Nvidia GPU prices to drop, which is a very good news for us who don't care bout fanboyism 😂

Have they finally invented drivers that work or processors that don't blue screen? My brother built a 7950x3D system and I built an i7 14700k system. My system is 100% reliable and zero upkeep. His is on his second motherboard, second video card, second case, second power supply and second AIO and he can't stabilize the system more than a couple days. My 14700k & RTX 4090 system has been playing for months and his system has been in a permanent half dissasembled maintenance state. The cherry on top is that before he bought all the 2nd exchange parts he had already spent over $1000 more than me and my system beats his in every benchmark we run despite me using DDR4 3200 and him using DDR5 6000. AMD is gimmicky, buggy bullshit and they always have been since their inception as ATI in the early 2000s. When AMD took over they just changed the ATI to an AMD without really p[utting much more effort in to their drivers, which still suck balls to this day.

The ammount of Nvidia cult followers is crazy Nvidia dosnt care about customers, they already sold out to miners, then to AI. Yet people for some reason people still buy the crap 4060, for $500 and say boo AMD... I dont get it.
