What you needed to fix wasn’t your body, it was your mind

I think it varies for different people. It’s a spectrum.

I know it sounds cliche but people really need to understand this: It's never the goal that's fulfilling, the goal is fleeting. The work and mindset on the way there is what triggers dopamine responses we are all chasing for mental health. The analogy is best understood summiting peaks. Planning, training, and hiking to the destination are chemically more rewarding and have more instances of overcoming obstacles than that singular moment of touching the top. When you get to the top, enjoy the view and get back to work.

I lost 16 kilo's with hard work and perseverance and I was pretty overweight. Coz I did the slow and steady approach I managed to keep all my natural muscle and health while doing it. No Ozempic for me needed. Now I feel physically great. The magnetism is unreal. But I went in clear minded. I knew this wasn't gonna solve every problem in my life. Just one really real aspect - appearance does matter. But if you go in ,and I see this a lot in the gym and with guys around me, with the idea that once I hit that glow up physique the world is just gonna open up and give you your flowers, the job,. the gf/bf, the whatever, then yes it can be misleading and you'll end up in his head space. Weightloss and getting into a prime physique is great but don't think it's Everything. To be honest I was still getting attention even while fat. And before I started my weightloss journey I was very aware of all my other talents, skills and substance. So glow up from the outside aswell as inside. Work on both. Learn that validation comes from within. Loving yourself regardless of the outside noise. Coz at the end of the day, everyone will have their oppinions, even now that I lost the weight. Some people even feel intimidated coz you're a mirror to their own shortcomings. You will always have haters. Learn to love yourself in what ever form you are. You exist and that is enough.

I would say your goals have to be driven by your core values. It’s ok to try to be rich, have a great physique, be popular, have an extremely attractive partner, etc but if those are your ultimate life goals above everything else, you should always question the reason why you feel like that is necessary, is it because you feel like you are lacking something? Will obtaining those things actually make you happy or has society convinced you those things are what will provide what you were looking for. Remember humans crave to work towards something so we can be easily manipulated into walking a thousand miles through a desert looking for an oasis just to realise it was a mirage all along.

thinking how many people this guy inspired is crazy, i think he should be more focused on that rather than his physique itself, i was exactly like him when i was a kid, but because of his videos i got motivated asf.

It's not about body. It's about confidence. No muscles in the world will give you confidence if you don't know how to fight. It's a man thing
