I LOVE WRITING MELODIES. The chorus on “Nuclear Kittens” is all about 3 distinct melodic lines: bass, electric guitar and vocals. I started with the bass and vocals (I generally write on bass), but felt like it needed one more hook to get everything to gel together. I think the guitar line completes the song. It kind of dances between the vocal and bass lines in this really playful way. Thanks to Molly for playing the part sooooo beautifullyyyy!!!
