My car has an flappy-paddle 8 speed too. It is quite quick and clever but still I can't help thinking how much better it would be with a 3rd pedal and a stick.

I don’t care. Clutch with a stick is what I grew up on and what I enjoy. IDGAF how fast it shifts, I’m not racing. Same with these bs EVs. I don’t care how fast it is when you can’t enjoy the sound and the feel. It feels like a toy and not a car. I can’t believe they made the E-Ray. Complete garbage overall. Last Corvette was the C7. RIP Corvette. RIP Chevy.🤢

I have a DCT in my daily I30N and its fantastic but i also have a 2007 sti as a weekend car, i would never ever have an AUTO as a dedicated enthusiast car.
i had a 10 speed mustang GT never again

I don’t drive a manual for shifting speed. I do it because it’s engaging, and frankly way more fun than any auto can be. I’ve driven some incredibly great autos too, but given the choice I’ll take the slower, more fun manual every single time
