Not really fair to the neos. String height doesn't appear to be adjusted at all which means the magnets are sitting closer to the strings, resulting in exaggerated output and sound. Also doesn't take into account if there was a bar magnet in place under the poles that was never removed

Lower the neodymium pickup’s and screws as low as they’ll go. The magnets are vibrating the strings a chrome cover couldn’t hurt either. Also if it’s a bar magnet scratch both sides to hell, it will mellow the sound

Well... it does increase output Wouldn't do it on a strat neck though Maybe its more promissing on a hot rails bridge pickup
