I wanna try Jamaican food soooooo bad, especially oxtail. I already all my life have eaten plantains, black eyed peas and rice, collard/mustard greens, and jerk chicken. I’m from Florida and that’s how we ate. Also yellow rice and sausage, tomato gravy and rice with pork chops, and many things I don’t see in Indiana where unfortunately I reside now. Lol.

I also went to job corps in homestead Miami, and all the students there was mainly from Jamaica and the Virgin Islands, so the cooks always cooked plantains, greens, different rices, sauces, and meat. It was good though. I just never had oxtail that I know of lol, unless they took it off the bone and served it.
