This image is the first shot when the Imperfectly Perfect Campaign hit Australia with national coverage, in less than 3 months into starting it.


Fresh faced in to the unknown that would set my path on an incredible journey of growth, of self reflection, of lows, of highs, of seeing the not so nice side of people, of seeing the amazing side to others, of seeing companies trying to take advantage for their own gain, of learning lessons, of going through many tests, and of finding my support system.


Who knew it would also lead to featuring on even more publications Internationally & even TV coverage, and going on to gain support from some of the biggest names around the world.


Heck this picture represents one of two things for me; BELIEF and NAIVETY.


Belief in that I was going to take on the world with my passion, but naivety in that I had absolutely no idea how.


Looking back, my daughter Leighton wasn’t even a twinkle in my eye and now I sit writing this and she is 4 years old!


So if you are reading this and know that you too want to take on the world, with something that has been placed on your heart, just know that you may not know everything, you may not even know the how to do it, just take it from me - belief will keep you moving forward and naivety will keep you humble and leading with humility.


Sometimes, we simply do not know what we do not know and that’s ok.
