As an archer, I find it ridiculous that the shooters have the target at only 10 meters, but us schmucks have to chuck arrows at 70 meters.

Olympic air pistols aren't firearms. In order to be a firearm it has to use a chemical explosive propellant, e.g. gunpowder.
