I think it would be good to talk about the condition of clothes, what can be donated and what can be a rag pile and go into textile waste or to charities for rag money. I'm in Wales 🏴 though so I'm not sure of your options

I also love being able to fix small holes and bigger holes in clothing. Makes clothing last a LOT longer and me liking the punk scene, and having that sorta vibe also helps

You forgot the 4th way to get rid of clothes!! Just wear them until there is literally nothing left!! 🤷🏻♀️😂 Lmao.. I speak from experience! I've been poor for many years and so I'm still wearing clothes from 10-15+ years ago. I've sewn my undies 🩲 probably 10-15 times for each and it's too the point that the material is so thin, that you poke a finger through everytime you pull them up! I think I have to finally give up on a few pairs and use them for rags in their next life! They don't owe me a cent though.. they did their time and then some and then some more! 🥴 RIP Undies.. 🫡 ..which takes on a whole different vibe since they're all RIPP

In Europe can give you clothes to Humana stores collect clothes to sell second hand and they sell the clothes that aren’t in shape to recycling. They use the money to sponsor all sorts of social projects. Friedensdorf is one of the things they sponsor bringing children from extreme poverty and war befallen countries the chance to heal from some very extreme health conditions.
