I grew up with Bradley Video, in my home town, then Blockbuster took over their store, only for gyms & panda expresses to take over the blockbusters... Twas sad

Omg before the general internet we had blockbuster.. oh I loved going getting a movie and a takeout, but remembering to bring the movie back 😂I was a teenager!

It’s definitely a nostalgic experience but it wasn’t all peaches and cream. In fact they went out of business when the time came to change or adapt because they chose to focus on the money they made charging rewinding fees. Somebody at Blockbuster thought that was more important than examining the potential impacts of DVD’s. Netflix took their soul and avoided making a similar mistake with the advent of streaming.

I bet you that if blockbuster decided to open up locations in very specific areas, they would thrive. It was so much fun going to blockbuster back in the day! Very fond memories. I'm glad one still exists.❤❤
