An inking tip I learned from 20 years from @scottwilliamsinks that I use to this day. Doubling up on your lines lets you put more energy into your art, and gives you more control over how it looks.

It's funny, for years, I have heard that not drawing a solid line was lack of confidence, that doing multiple lines like that on top of each other was a newbie way of inking. The lame solid example he did to sell the multipass ink style,would in the past, have had varied line weights, not just one pass solid. In the end, take the tips, try them and then just do your own thing that looks good to the eye. Inking styles change and become dated. Like, you can tell inking styles from the 60's vs 80's.
