you cant forget about the weather either the Grand Lines weather is so unpredictable anything can happen. But due to Nami's "extensive knowledge" on weather she's able to some what help them avoid situation's that would take out an average ship and crew.

Yeah I haven't been able to watch sadly because I can't remember what episode I was on and no access anymore but it was somewhere I believe when they got separated in the desert during the alabasta stuff with the princess anyways first time I saw Mihawk and he just pulled out that tiny blade against Zoros three swords I knew he was fucked there was definitely a huge power gap.

As someone who only got into one piece about a year ago. That bit was insane to me. In the midst of this insane battle a guy just shows up out of nowhere and absolutely rocks the shit out of them. It was crazy seeing just how ridiculous the power gap was.
