I wouldn't be surprised if Vettel's timing announcing the transfer to AM was deliberate to get back at Ferrari. Seb is a clever guy, and knows how to fight back without making it too obvious

I remember in one race in his final season where they decided to pit Vettel and put on hard tyres, 10 laps later they called him into the pits again, changed the tyre so LeClerc could finish ahead of him. Also, on the cool down lap, Seb remained silent.

He struggled with the pressure and the infamous āFerrari politicsā.
He even admitted it in an interview, he said itās one thing to be battling for a championship for a team. But itās much different battling for a championship when youāre driving for Ferrari. You feel that pressure of having a whole country thatās ready to villainise you if you fail. It was the same with the team personnel which created the politics inside the team.
