Three things the Kia Sonet does better than the Tata Nexon.

First, it’s a richer experience on the inside. All the materials, the way they come together, and how they work, create this luxurious experience. The screens, the sound system, the 360° camera work as intended and make it feel like a world class product. It also gets a few extras like sun-blinds for the rear, and a proper tyre pressure monitoring system as standard.

Second, it’s better to drive and to be driven in. Its engines and gearboxes are smoother and easier to drive. The suspension also feels more composed and at the same time, more confidence inspiring at higher speeds. The cabin is better insulated, all of which makes it less tiring and more enjoyable to drive.

Third, the Sonet’s reputation for reliability is much stronger than the Nexon, which is known to have bugs consistently. And yes, the Kia service centres aren’t known for being the best, but still their reputation is far better than Tata Motor’s service centres.
