I love this idea. Especially with this recent episode. He deliberately makes himself sound like an ass because A: Haschwalth and the others are watching and B: no way would Ichigo fight him without provocation. Though it seems like he genuinely had no idea that Ichigo has Quincy blood so it'll be interesting to see if that's explored further.
Also he totally could've pierced Ichigo's heart had he wanted to but he gave him a convincing blow that looks like he tried to kill him and could be patched up by Squad 4 or somebody else later.

I always hated Uryu's betrayal in the manga, seems like the anime will fix it and actually turn it into a really good moment for him.
