A new Figurative Abstract Painting from

"Tiger Lily" is a 36x36" original acrylic on canvas with Collage and graphics and is from the "Fragrance Of Life Collection".
As you probably already know, I am an obsessive painter and in constant motion. This includes my need to explore different ideas and what prompts the need to explore creating the ideas.
The significance of nature is the exquisite ability that it has to capture the hearts and minds of all of us. Flowers in particular are the crowning jewels of nature, in a dazzling array of "Colorful Magic".
Part of the process before beginning a piece, is to research more meaningful ideas around the subject. This helps me find my way through the development of the work and gives it purpose.
Symbolically the Tiger Lily represents Confidence and not arrogance or vanity. This is why the flower was often associated with nobility in times past. In Buddhism, the tiger lilies are symbolic of the virtues of mercy and compassion.
"Fragrance Of Life" Collection is my connection to nature, my divinity if you will. It is a blessings to create this nature in new and expressive ways.
