it's pretty clear that wotc signed a contract with some manufacturer to make 7 card packs around the time of aftermath. then aftermath bombed and now they are trying to make sure that contract doesn't go to waste with these "value" boosters and the beyond boosters

Man the vibe of this is that the name is so misleading. You have to bet these are still going to be at least $4 and often have $0 of value in them. Iād say a real value booster would be ~$7 and have more than 15 cards, maybe 25-30, and often have two rares or a mythic.
