Summer time in the southwestern US makes water changes interesting. The "cold" side on my tap comes out at 90F (32C) and I actually use ice to help control the temperature in my aquarium from increasing too much.

If this works for u great, but there is no one right way of doing things. Ive never had to change water only top of evaporation. Dead plants are eating by my bladdar snails. Its called natureπ
