if that was the case, someone offering me a child that they do not want, because I would be a good father and because it would enable me to have a child, considering the "this is your last chance to be here" comment.
as long as I could care for the child, had proper food and home and I was incapable of having my own ( sterile or whatever) I would consider it.
however, I would not just do it to be a heroe, I would make sure I could handle a child and care for them properly, the cost of living now and how my life and myself have been treated, there is no way in any hell I would bother with even dating someone. lots of shits and neglect in my life, tiny bits of help with heaping loads of neglect and ostracization, because I wasn't money or cool enough, ppffft waste of my time associating with those types.
