این اثر زیبا به دستور فتحعلی شاه قاجار به دست جواهر سازان ایرانی در حدود ۲۰۰ سال پیش ساخته شده.
در اصل این تخت ربطی به نادر شاه نداره و بخاطر نادر بودن این تخت نام نادری روش گذاشتن. و اینکه این ربطی به تخت طاووس هم نداره، تخت طاووس یک تخت دیگر است و ابعادش دو برابر این تخت است.
اما این صندلی در موزه جواهرات ملی در تهران نگهداری می‌شود.
