One of my pro tips is, besides lerning with understanding and regular breaks between study sessions, is to write things down and speak it out loud at the same time (multible times; meaning till you can recall it by yourselfe, till you know it by heart), so you have 3 ways nearly simultaneousely to your brain (seeing, writing and hearing). Those things i even know when excited during an exam. I learned e.g. french that way, and recently after 13 years of not using it i was amaced that i could perfectly understand what was written in an theology encyclopedia/ lexikon?. That was hard work that lasted. I wish you all, all the best and much success with studying. May God bless you all abundantely.

If you're adhd inclined like myself, one hack to get your brain to do the thing that worked for me is to.. work all day but load the day with work that you know you can finish without spending the whole day. Once your nervous system starts to learn that by focusing you can enjoy yourself more the reward circuit kicks in and it gets easier.

As a straight A highschool student honestly I've never studied unless its a memorization test. I just do my work while he teacher is talking and then go on my phone lol. It depends on the person, some people need more time to do assignments and study, while others don't. You don't need to study for every single hour of the day to get good grades. Its better to take breaks and do what you enjoy

Last week I started a new habit of as soon as I come home, I use the restroom upstairs and leave my phone in my bedroom until it’s dinner time and a little bit before dinner time, I’ll check my phone for texts from either my bsf or bf. But the DIFFERENCE I feel in how productive I actually am is insane bc some days I get all my homework done by around 4 or 5 pm if I don’t have a lot of it but I don’t spend hours doing homework and stretching it out longer than it needs to. Even before starting this I always turned in my assignments on time but to me, it felt like I was taking too long to complete them. Now, I’m so much more productive and I’d really recommend trying this for people who get super distracted by their phone like I do

Personally, I am not addicted to my phone. I do not know what the problem is, but I do absolutely anything besides genuinely studying, learning, or practically doing anything productive. Even simply mundane things I would and do procrastinate. Please let me know if you have any advice for me. Thank you.

This really works guys but as a college student puting your devices away may not be possible cause all the notes are as ppts ,pdf and printing hard copy of all subjects are not affordable, even if we did that will be a bigger size which makes students tired even by looking it. So what i did was
1.Switch off notification from all unnecessary apps, but keep on notification for clg gc cause there will be important messages.
2.prepare your mind, offer a reward to yourself if you successfully completes task , to boost ourselves. Don't be discouraged, read postive quotes
3. Know the syllabus and pattern of exam very well. Work smart
4.split the modules and assign it carefully like make a time table. Now start studying parts by parts
5.Dont sacrifice on sleep (minimum 6hrs must) and nutrition, without these two there is no way can remember anything properly.
6. Also studying using devices for a long time will not be good for your health so i recommend Hard copy,if thats not the case remember to blink and rest your eyes for a bit too
This is how i prepares myself for exams and note that each of us have different pace so prepare timetable accordingly.
