Forgive this long message: Anyone here enjoy old school home audio? Y'know, the huge stereo receivers, big speakers? I'm a big fan of early 1970s audio receivers (when they were made in Japan and weighed 50lbs) and I have big 3- & 4-way stereo speakers the size of sofa end tables. Anyway, those Husky kneeling pads are PERFECT for placing your heavy stereo speakers on. They protect the bottom side of the speakers and allow you to move the speakers around without scratching the floor or the speaker. They're a fraction of the cost of those Made-in-China speaker stands and, if you don't like the look, I'm sure you can cut them to the exact size of your speaker to be more discreet. (I didn't. A few inches of pad protrude from under each side of the speaker. I'm good with it.) Bonus: If you're a vinyl record aficionado like me, you want less vvvvvvibration when you play your Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd records loud. Those Husky kneepads really help absorb that vibration. If you have a bad floor, and the needle skips when people walk by, get one for underneath your turntable. The Husky kneepad is a dense enough to support it my heavy direct-drive record player, and a 12" level (or one of those round turntable levels) will allow you to adjust the turntable feet to ensure it's plumb (which is important, so your stylus isn't favoring one side of the grooves). I apologize for this rambling off-topic message but jeffostroff is spot-on with these pads. They can make the audiophile experience improved, protect your precious (and collectable!) vinyl collection and turntable cartridge/stylus.
Anyone have problems with your clothes washing machine vibrating because the cheap, plastic feet are ineffective? Or the floor it's on isn't plumb because of age, or it slopes towards floor drain? Get one of these pads, cut it into 3" squares and try placing under each corner of the wash machine. See if it helps. If ineffective, you still have a slightly smaller kneepad.
