That's not just flooring. Guys, this is a buy/inventory tactic that many businesses have to navigate. Any time you have a product, you have to decide what/how many to have on hand. Products can change quickly, updated versions, and products can fail to catch the customer's eye. You have to prepare for that. A flooring company is a one product company. That's all they do is flooring. It makes sense not to keep ALL the different kinds of flooring on hand. What I would consider is what product sells the best and only keep that one product on hand for those customers who are willing to pay in excess for faster delivery. Other than that, yeah, it makes sense not to have huge inventory.
