Basically, whether a movie is a hit or a flop totally depends on the audience’s taste. According to my small intelligence, the best strategy to make a movie a hit is: first, people should know the movie is releasing through effective marketing; second, the audience should forget it’s just a movie and truly get involved in the story; third, it depends on the region—like urban sectors or rural areas; fourth, the movie should make people think and discuss it even after leaving the theater; fifth, the majority of the audience should enjoy all aspects, including graphics, story, screenplay, etc. There are other points, too, but since this is just a YouTube comment, I don’t want to stress my intelligence so much.
