Most of the orthodontist have no idea what MARPE is ...Airway dentistry is still evolving.
I live in Atlanta....we have only one dentist who does MARPE and people travel from nearby places for the procedure.

My childhood orthodontist gaslit me this way in 2019. Must have been offended I questioned the straight teeth/bite they gave me. Braces and head gear as a kid, suffered lifelong breathing issues since. Completed two soft tissue surgeries related to airway and now I’m looking to jaw surgery. That incident put me off for a few more years and now I’m back on track looking MMA surgery. I’ve already consulted with multiple surgeons this year who have all agreed that I’m a solid candidate for MMA. Quite the journey, and it’s not over yet.
