When I was a wee lad in the very early nineties I had a kids game console called "Magellan". Wish I still had it.

With it loading from the top, it makes it more in line with the Famicom, the original Japanese version of the console.

Was an eBay selling monkey at a local pawn shop a little while ago. I had never seen a Vectrex in my life, but somehow they had 3 of the buggers haha! Shipping off a basically new complete in box 3do was a cool feeling. 😊

The biggest downside for the NES top loader is the fact it’s RF only and got rid of the AV ports. The quality really doesn’t look that great that way but if it came at the cost of preserving the slot connectors then I’d say it’s worth it
