Both sound great but the p90 has that amazing added chyme to it which usually single coils have rather than humbuckers. But honestly both sound very good!

This comparison only scratches the surface. Everything changes when you start adjusting volume and tone controls.

To be fair, if you are new to guitar, dont take this video as a rule of thumb, cuz for some reason those humbuckers are surprisingly clear sounding. Usually the difference in tone is much bigger than that, at least in my experience

Humbuckers are a bit smoother but the p90's have a real nice raspy cutting edge especially when cranked up. I love them both😎

P90s are amazing sounding, if that’s the tone your after. I prefer the Gretch thing for this tone. If you’re lucky, and have a job, you can have all three!
