No. The closet flange is to be mounted on top on the finish floor not flush.

Should have jackhammered the concrete and installed a full sized flange. Now it’s like 2” diameter. Most contractors don’t care because they’re not living g in the house and think someone else will have to deal with it , right!?😂

Shouldn’t the flange be on top of the tile in this scenario?

Hopefully the pipe won’t crack and leak from forcing it down and screwing it under pressure 😂

It probably would have been easier on you to lay that tile first. Cut that pipe and then install your flange . Just thinking out loud.

Is it better to have the flange above the tile, below the tile, or even with the top of the tile ?

That flange will crack in time due to the fact he had banged it in then screws forcing it down, you see when it’s being screwed down the plastic flange is deforming with the force

I've talked to all of my plumbers for 10+ years about if the flange should be on the top of or flush with the tile and everyone has said on top. Is there a specific reason you went flush?

Bruh,,,,, you force the pipe down and held it there with screws it will fail from cracking secondly why is the flange below the floor level. Bad bad bad bad bad

Use a different toilet flange that goes over the pipe…if you’re teaching this stuff you should know better.

Negative bro.... You only did that so you didnt have to use a diamond bit to fasten it to the floor which is lazy and incorrect.
