I love being a mom. My son is so awesome and I can't imagine life without him. However I'm very glad that people who don't want kids/can't afford kids/have severe mental issues or addiction issues, don't have kids. Kids deserve good lives. Too many people have them that shouldn't.

As a parent, I always tell people who don’t want children I’m happy for them. I do love being a mom, but it’s not for everyone. I wish people would respect people who don’t want children and people who do. Don’t listen to the nasty, angry parents ❤

facts. right out of college i lived with my brother and sister in law for a couple years. brother had gone into army straight out of highschool and after finishing his first contract just went straight to work force. they had an extra bedroom and the rent was mad cheap, but they had 2 kids, and by god it was a living hell. sister in law didn’t realize that being a parent was going to be a 24/7 365 kinda job, and just decided to not parent at all as a result. constant screaming and yelling and never a second of peace and quiet in that house hold

As a dad of 3 at 23 and literally all under 3 , I can confirm the stress is real lmao the first year is horrible but after that you learn how to survive without sleep, than you start to get used to not going out and doing all the crazy stuff you use too but miss it like hell, I barely started taking care of myself with stuff like haircuts and new clothes again after 3 years and that includes going out with friends too lol it’s definitely not for everyone and I do wish I had them at a later time, but I wouldn’t trade them for anything in the world, it’s a struggle and very stressful but they’re awesome and I love all my gremlins

As a man whose been married for 7 years without kids I can say I genuinely can't express in words how happy my wife and I are just focusing on eachother and having the money to do whatever we want for eachother without children weighing us down, every time I think about kids I just look at my brother or any of my friends with kids and see how miserable they are
