Ohhhh those are my FAVORITE things to Rockhound where I live, they are GORGEOUS when cut (and they tumble great too if you cut them into tumbler sized piece!)
Always remember: when it’s sandy or grey or muddy colored, it’s Chert; when it’s black it’s Flint; as soon as you get those gorgeous pops of color, it’s Jasper!
