The awkwardness kisses on S1 is just normal. Since they're doing it for the first time in their whole life. That's why on season 2 after brightwin said they go to private dates or lemme say hanging out together just the two of them ( for their S2 series ) they found out they had so much in common about their hobbies that's why in Season 2 , There's no longer awkwardness and those scenes are just pure normal act like they were even more sweet Moments behind the scenes and the most awaited Kiss Scenes on the SOFA quench my thirst of their kisses on S1.
