Lol you just defined why we got that posture in bjj, funny thing is Jigoro Kano bjj fundamentals were actually really neat, while the new school bjj is really new, all the fundamentals were already there for who knows how long even ancient wrestlers who got painted and engraved on rocks adopted this posture and there's a reason for it.

IJF made judo weak. we had all the grappling until IJF didnt see value in it. now bjj thinks they're hotter than us because we forgot where we cam from.

That is what makes classical judo against BJJ players quite hard - their low hip and head posture. It's particularly frustrating when they're being super defensive.
