Welcome to my tutorial on how to play Metallica's iconic riff from "Seek and Destroy" on guitar! Whether you're a beginner or an intermediate player, this riff is a classic that's sure to get you headbanging in no time. In this video, I'll break down the riff step-by-step, making it easy for you to follow along and master.

First, we'll start by tuning our guitar to standard E tuning (E A D G B E). Once you're tuned up, we'll dive right into the riff. "Seek and Destroy" is played in the key of E minor and features a simple yet powerful sequence of power chords and palm-muted notes.

Once you've mastered each part of the riff, try playing along with the original song to hear how it fits into the music. Don't worry if it takes some time to get the hang of it – with practice, you'll be shredding like Kirk Hammett in no time!

So grab your guitar, crank up the distortion, and let's rock out to Metallica's "Seek and Destroy"! Be sure to like, comment, and subscribe for more guitar tutorials and rockin' content. Keep on shredding!

Idk if the tab book I learned it from back in 1994 was incorrect or not but it ended that riff after hammer-ons & offs by hitting a quick 7th fret 4th string, then on top what you put. open 5th string, 7th, 8th fret 5th string. 5th fret 4th string, 7th fret 5th string, 5th fret 3rd string, 7th fret 4th string. Sounds good both ways. But now I'm curious which is correct? Take care.
