When I was a tow truck driver we pulled one out of a lake once. The driver said he got out to use the port a potty and when he got out of the john the truck was gone. It rolled down the boat ramp and ended up about 50 feet out in 20 ft deep water. It was also a f150.

this happens a lot, what can happen is when you are towing and you put the truck in park without using the e break the little pin in the trans can fail and bye bye truck shes rolling.

I have actually seen it done before. People that pull a boat behind their travel trailer try to launch their boat that is behind their travel trailer. I have over 1,000,000 miles of heavy Hall tractor trailer driving experience with doubles and triples. There is no way that I would try this.
