I spent 4 years in the US Army, 11 bravo, infantry. These things used to fly over us so low I could see the rivets on its bottom side. NOTHING in our arsenal was as spectacular as the A-10 tank buster. It would make the hair on my neck stand at attention. Absolutely loved em being on our side. You knew they had your back. And they loved being there for you.

As a Desert Storm Marine vet, I couldn't imagine the US military without this extremely amazing and strategic aircraft! It's arguably the best military aircraft ever produced! ❤❤❤

I love how dedicated these pilots are to close air support...
It's almost like they are walking the same ground as the troops...
I've watched many clips of them not leaving the hot zone... (empty of munishions)... just to keep the enemy's heads down...
