Throw back to my pinning ceremony!

Today makes it officially 6 years since I graduated from nursing school, my pinning ceremony was held on August 12, 2016. The program wasn’t easy, I made a lot of sacrifices to get to that point, lot of sleepless nights, and missed opportunities. For what it’s worth, I don’t regret any of it, I’m currently living the life I want to live.

After graduating in August 2016, I took my NCLEX in October 2016 and passed on my first try. I only used the Saunders book and the NCLEX Cram book to study. I have a lot of criticisms about the program I was in, but I felt adequately prepared for the NCLEX. I think (And others have said the same) that the actual NCLEX was way easier than the tests in the program. I don’t remember the exact questions I got (it’s been a while), but I remembered thinking these questions were not that hard.
