Thanks to Funko's new business practices of focusing on big box retailers as opposed to small shops (just to name one example), Poppin' Off Toys of Nashville has had a rough year. To help them out during the holiday season, a local collector donated some valuable Pops worth $50+ each. Then another collector did. Then another. And that's when Poppin' Off got an idea: create a $20 mystery box that guarantees $50 in value AND have it to the customers in time to open on Christmas Day. Well, we weren't in a position to donate any Pops but we wanted to help. So we bought several rolls of different wrapping paper, several rolls of tape and Old even spent a vacation day at work so we could report to Poppin' Off Toys with the intention of wrapping every... single.... Pop. One good deed started a domino effect that resulted in 60+ people having a guaranteed $30+ return on their purchase. The customer wins, the store wins and the holiday spirit wins.
