How do you prevent a stuffy nose in the morning? I'm Dr. Manan Shah, I'm an ENT and allergist with Wyndly Health. A lot of people wake up every morning and they feel like their nose is super stuffy and frustrated. The easiest way to fix that in the morning is to use something like a topical nasal saline rinse.

What happens is overnight when you're lying down, all the blood rushes to your nose and your nose will sometimes get stuffy. If you use a topical nasal saline rinse and you spray it through your nose and just help humidify the nose, it will oftentimes decrease the congestion. Sometimes that nasal congestion is actually a sign of dust mite allergies or environmental allergies in your environment.
