I would recommend to only bring your binder to trade if you have a good understanding of the cards you own. Some people will try to take advantage of a new player trying to trade their old cards.

I remember when I started to go to locals as a n00b, my main deck and extra deck had the same card sleeves.
I wasted more time trying to separate both during matches :'(
It does take up some resources (money) to buy two (2) separate card sleeve colors but it helps.
