My dog died in December 18 of 2022 and she saved me too. I was heading in my house after a walk with my dog and I didn’t realize but a pit bull was heading towards us and my dog(who name is Lexi) took 3 bites from it and I was able to bring Lexi in the house but I did get bit once. It was a sad day and my cousins came over for Christmas and I apologized for not being able to save Lexi because they were also very close to her. They also had a dog who was very close to her and he spent the whole time that there were there tying to look for her not knowing she was dead

This reminds me of my late dog shepherd he was a rescue dog and he protected me from my father when needed. He passed 2 years ago. Now my service dog Scrappy has taken over the role that shepherd had. Shepherd lived at my father’s and Scrappy lives with my mom. The two dog did meet when shepherd was in his older years and they both became best friends. I love them. ❤

My dog died about 3 years ago, and she saved me multiple times, and I really never forget her deeds. Her name was orea, and she had a pit bull and a husky mix, which sounds weird, but she was beautiful. One time when I got off the bus and was walking to my house and there was a random pit bull and they went up to attack me and she ran in front and took the fight for me, she didn't make it sadly, and I cried for months because I had her since I was 7 and she died when I was 13 and I'm 16 now, I miss her everyday she had puppies none of them made it except one who I love with all my heart she waits for outside the bus just like orea did, her puppy is more pit than anything, her name is night and she took over the role as my animal someone I can sit there and talk to knowing that she won't make fun of me, she took the role of being my savior and I love the both of them and I miss orea to this day still and I could never forget orea, she was my first dog and the dog I had for years, I loved her,but I knew she would die someday I just hoped it wouldn't be on mybirthday, but it was and I will never forget her

I got a puppy from a friend who couldn’t take care of her anymore, to be honest I didn’t originally really want the dog but I took her in to make my friend happy and now this dog is the reason I’m alive.

My dog tango a pitbull died when I was young he was my only trustful dog intill he died and then my mom rescued another pitbull from dieing her name was Lucy but she was tourchered till we got her so we changed her name to lulu she was there for me for 5 or 4 years but then her fur was falling of and had a big allergic reaction so we had to give her to the vet to take her to the pound this happened 2 days ago oh and she had a litter of about 8 puppies and I still have one named batman

I grew up with 2 chihuahuas, Bucky and Bianca. They were fierce little guys, and I could tell they were protecting me with everything they had, like when big dogs or other people came close. As the years went on they started getting old and more tired, getting a bit more blind and frail by the day, but still they protected me. When I was 11 Bianca was the first to go. Her kidney and liver were failing, and the last time I saw her was the morning before school laying in her bed. I came home that day learning she passed and ran to my room. Bucky followed me and snuggled up, seemingly understanding where she went. It was even more heartbreaking when he patrolled the house looking for her. After a year or so he got dementia and went fully blind. Every day he paced beside me as to always make sure I was safe. Then when I was 12 I came home to find he wasn’t at his usual spot, I figured he was in my beanbag since he always loved it. He wasn’t there. I asked my parents where he was, and they broke the news. My two best friends since I was born, were gone. No more little taps of paw’s running around, no more soft snoring (yes they snored) in the sun spots on the floor. I have two dogs currently and I love them to pieces but it’s just not the same 🤍
