If SIDS means sudden infant death syndrome would that not imply that no matter what they had around them the death would be unavoidable? If it was as simple as being smothered they'd just call it that.

Do they have history about sids has this always happened to babies , my sons are 18 now but I remember finding out about sids as I left the hospital, and it was very traumatic, I would wake up and run to their crib and always check if they where breathing, thanks for raising awareness
